I realize this might be unpopular, but I really think Lexie was a tremendous influence on George and they could have blossomed into a great couple. George goes through a lot of growth in season 4 (his best two scenes IMO are when he takes Tuck when Bailey and her ex start to fight, and when he connects with the heart patient kid Duncan) and his connection with Lexie feels very genuine and loving. She helps him grow up in and sense and he is always very accepting of her. They both are optimistic and goofy in very unique ways that compliment one another well.
I believe their friendship could have progressed in the way the writers originally thought Izzie and George’s could (except much more naturally, better executed, and no cheating)…any thoughts?
