The New Trailer of Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 is Here

Calling all the Grey’s Anatomy fans, the season 20 trailer is out.

Grey’s is back! The new trailer for the coveted season 20 is here. Picking up from last season, it continues to highlight the tough predicaments the doctors and interns found themselves in.

Starting with Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), the trailer features an appearance from her—who was seen departing the series in the last season—for at least one more episode as she assists with decisions that were left unsaid (deciding which intern might be getting fired).

Doctor Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) – who suddenly left the series in 2018, also makes a come back in the 20th season. Robbins is seen with Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) greeting the interns with “So who wants to make history?” signaling they might participate in a challenging surgery, panning to “Which one of you am I firing?” by Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman).

Fast forward a few seconds, viewers witness a tension-fueled interaction between co-workers Monica Beltran, and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), followed by complicated friendship and relationship dynamics among the interns.

Towards the end, fans are once again met with the season’s cliffhanger which showed Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) collapsing mid-surgery, and lastly ending with a chaotic run to the operating room where her husband Owen Hunt (Kevin Mckidd) informs the other doctors to “Do the procedure.”

Although the trailer doesn’t explicitly share a lot of details about the storyline, in its 60 seconds it does highlight that it won’t be a boring one. The 20th season of Grey’s Anatomy will premiere on March 14, on ABC Network. Unlike previous seasons, this season will be shortened to only 10 episodes. However, rest assured, it will be a drama-packed, emotionally wrenching season like the rest.
